The PSEi closed the shortened trading week on a strong note and is poised to challenge the 3,300 level and close the close the gap at 3,324. Liquidity in the market, good financial/fiscal figures and strong company earnings lifted the local equities market this Holy Week.
**It has been a little more than a month since the global equities selldown which was triggered by the one-day 9% drop in China; and most markets have already recovered the losses.
Trading in the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) will resume on April 10, 2007 (tuesday).
