The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) continued its rebound and advanced another 153.56 points to close at 13657.86. This provided the local equities market the boost it needed to challenge the 3400 level.

The 3400 level was immediately tested and broken. The market attempted to move to higher level.
