Trading in the PSE the day after Christmas - 2007

After a four-day break, trading in the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) resumed today. WallStreet has advanced by about 300 points since Friday.

With investors still caught up in the holiday mood, the local equities market immediately opened higher. And as most selling orders were already matched last week before the long break, year-end window dressing drove the market to higher levels.
