Oil is trading near the $127 a barrel level.
The local equities market opened strong to continue on its momentum from the past days.
It however lose steam and gave up most of its gains as a bout of profit taking took over. The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) was not able to hurdle the resistance at its 30 day moving average (m.a.).
