The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) was up by 45.52 points on Friday and closed at another record high at 13907.25
US retail sales drop an unexpected 0.9% in June; the worst in two years. Excluding auto sales, the drop would be 0.4%.
June imports rise 1%, due in part to oil prices. Excluding oil, it would be a gain of 0.2%.
So far, corporate buybacks has been fueling the rise in WallStreet; but mutual funds posted outflows.
