The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) fell by 149.33 (-1.07%) points on Friday. WallStreet was not able to sustain its trek above the 14,000 level onto new record levels. It closed at 13851.08.
On the Friday, the peso closed at PhP 44.80 against the US dollar; its highest level since August 2000.
