It was an uneventful day of trading in the Philippine Stock Exchange. The local equities market was on a sideways mode as the Philippine Stock Exhange Index (PSEi) moved in a narrow range and closed only marginally lower.

The market remains tentative and is still looking for leads. Even if the PSEi was down; Gainers led Losers as the smaller cap issues actively traded.

The PSEi is still in between the 30-day (2817) and 10-day (2844) moving averages.
