The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) closed up by 14.47 (+0.11%) points to end at 13127.85. It traded between the range of 13021-13207.

In the absence of leads from WallStreet, investors continued to lighten up their equities holdings ahead of the promulgation of the Sandiganbayan on its decision on the cases against the former President Joseph Estrada. The downward momentum from yesterday's drop also dragged down the market.
