WallStreet again suffers a deep selldown and declines more than 4.0%. The DJIA has its lowest close in 12 years.

The local equities market saw erratic trade. The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSEi) immediately opened lower but by mid-session was in positive territory. It however again declined to end with slight losses.
