WallStreet climbed higher by almost 3% as the DJIA closed at its high ahead of the Thanksgiving break. It has now risen more than a thousand points in the last four trading sessions.

The local equities market continues its advance as sentiment in WallStreet spilled over. The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) immediately opened higher and consolidated for the rest of the trading day as it tries to build a base at the 1900-1950 level.

The Philippine Economy expands to a 4.6% year on year growth in the 3rd Qtr of 2008. (The US on the other hand fell 0.5% in the same period).
