After the worst two-day decline since the 1987 crash; WallStreet regained some ground to end near its high and close just below the 9000 level.

The US cuts 240,000 jobs in October and Unemployment rises to 6.5%, a 14-year high. Investors took this as a cue that will spur another FED Rate cut.

A metals trader says Gold can hit $2000 an ounce in a few years.

An hour before President-elect Barack Obama was to hold his first press conference, WallStreet had been up by around 170-200 points.

The Philippines cut its reserve rquirements in a hope to stoke growth.
