The Philippine Stock Market - June 15, 2009

The local equities market resumed trading after the long holiday weekend and started with some uncertainty. After a weak initial advance, it soon found itself deep in the red by mid-session. A strong surge in the second-half had the Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) recover its losses and even advance beyond the 2600 level.
