The local equities market advanced as it rode on its momentum from yesterday. The data that the RP May Inflation was at 3.3% (an 18-month low) and the rise in the DJIA added more fuel to the rally. The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) touched new 8-month high levels.

Some investors have voiced concerns on the recent moves of Congress for the change in the Constitution. So far, the Philippine Stock Market has not yet been affected, as it continues its rise.
