The Philippine Stock Market - June 19, 2009

The DJIA was up overnight, by 58.42 points and it closed at 8555.60.

The local equities market opened higher as WallStreet advanced. It however soon changed direction and the Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) tested the 2400 level as it closed near its low.
