The Philippine Stock Market - July 6, 2009

WallStreet was closed on Friday (July 3) for the extended US Independence Day Weekend Celebrations.

The local equites market opened directionless and moved in a very narrow range for the early part of trading. It had a short spurt going into the last hour of the session and the Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) ended with moderate gains. The market has been moving within the 2400-2500 level the past days with low value turnover.
