WallStreet traded in a narrow range and provided little direction for the opening of the local equities market. The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) just hovered around the 3,000 level for the most of the early part of the trading day. Another strong surge towards the close had the market close at its high once again. There is excitement in the market as it is now above the key 3000 level.
