WallStreet recovered some of its losses from its huge drop last Friday in a roller-coaster trading movement yesterday.
The local equities market was also erratic in the first trading day of the month. It opened higher by more than 1.00%, then reversed direction to break below the 2900 level before finally closing little changed. The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) continues to test the 2900 level.
