Earlier this afternoon, an explosion rocked the Glorietta Mall in Makati. Initial reports had several people killed and dozens injured. Presently, the television coverage shows severe damage inside the mall. Concrete portions and escalators were hard it. A hole seems to have been also blasted to the roof. The damage can be seen to extend outside.
A strong blast caused by a bomb or any explosion device would likely create renewed concerns and spook investors.
