The days' market - October 24, 2007

The Dow Jones Industrial Average continued its recovery. It advanced another 109.26 points (0.81%) to close at 13676.23.

The gains in WallStreet again inspired investors in the local equities market. President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo also came over the PSE Makati Trading Floor to ring the opening bell of the trading day. It was to show that everything is normal after friday's explosion in the Glorietta Mall. Sentiment got a boost and the Philippine Stock Market continued its rebound.
