Today was the market debut of I-Remit, Inc (I) which just had its Initial Public Offering. It priced its shares at PhP 4.68. In today's first day of listimg, It opened at PhP 5.50; reached a high of PhP 5.90 and touched a low of PhP 5.30.
Total volume of trade was at 48,445,000 shares with a value of PhP 267,693,500. The day's closing price was at PhP 5.50 or a gain of 17.52% over its offering price.

It was fortunate that its listing was not dampened by the market sentiment. Market demand for its shares got a boost from the continued increase of remittances of OFWs which is its core business.
