WallStreet was higher overnight and the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) closed up by 80.26 points to end at 9627.48


The local equities market also traded on the upside. The Philippne Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) rose by more than 1.0% and ended near its high.
