The Philippine Stock Market - February 09, 2009

The local equities opened higher and immediately reached its day's high as the rise in WallStreet last Friday boosted sentiment. But the Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) soon fell to a correction after it's strong advances late last week. After briefly touching the negative territory in the mid-session, the market ended with slight gains.
