WallStreet posts a huge advance to break the 8500 level.
US Treasury Secretary Geithner says US economy has stabilised.

The local equities market opened higher on back of the advances in world equities markets. It regains its losses yesterday. The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) again breaks and stays above the 2300 level.
The Philippine Government posts a PhP 7.9 bn Budget Surplus in April (the first surplus in 8 months). The deficit for the first 4 months of the year is at PhP 111.8 bn.
